Entry number 70..Wow..Kay today will be another speech..

The world is full of hatred. In every single relationship we have, there is hatred in the heart. Every employer hates their boss, every boss hate their employees, friends hating friends, couple hating each other upon break ups and many more examples. Why must there be hatred? Why cant there be just love? To make the world go round?

Love can be spread in many many ways. It doesnt necessarily be love of a couple or lovers. A simple smile is a way of showing love. Why? This is because that very smile that u gave will brighten up that someone's day and cause him to smile. He will then smile at another person and the cycle goes on. That one smile will rid of all the hatred in the world. Just one sincere smile. Someone pissed off will just change with that smile.

Fill the world with love. Stop the violence, the cruelty, the hatred. The world will be a much better place to live in. Us Singaporeans take things for granted. Yes our lives are happy and peaceful here with no form of out-and-out violence.

But look around us. Are all of us happy? We are so busy with work and everyday routines that we forget our neighbours, our relatives and our friends. Have we ever took a moment to think that we can actually change their day with that simpe smile or perhaps a "Hello" or "How was your day" and sit down for a moment and listen out to what they have to say? No we dont. To us, only ourselves matter and no one else. We work but get underpayed. Who do we blame? Our employers. And who does the employers blame? The employees.

Have we ever sat down and think that perhaps it is our fault that some things happen. Everything happens for a reason.

Back to us taking things for granted. We should be happy that we do not face shortage of food and we always have at least two meals a day. Have we think about our fellow humans living in Africa or other places in the world where a piece of bread is lyke gold to them? We throw away food everyday without realising that the food we throw is like worshipped by those people when they got to have them. Just think. WE ALWAYS TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED.

For the muslims, Ramadan is fast approaching. Use the time to truly reflect on our year's deed and practice self control. Breaking a fast doesnt mean having a 10 course meal just because we did not eat the whole day. Rasullulah s.a.w memulakan berbuka puasa hanya dengan memakan sebiji kurma. So dont follow what you want. Control. Jangan ikut nafsu.
